This morning after a breakfast of fresh orange juice or cappuccino and "cornetto" the students made out way to St. Peter's Basilica where they had an audience with the pope and had an opportunity to eat some of the best gelato in the area. After lunch, students took a tour of the Vatican museum where they had an opportunity to see Michelangelo's great Sistine Chapel and climb to the top of St. Peter's Basilica for one of the best birds eye views of Rome and the Vatican.

Tonight the group will head to Trastevere for a special pizza dinner and evening stroll around Trastevere.

Everyone is safe and in good spirits.
