On Wednesday, February 21st, BMS will celebrate the 19th edition of the International Mother Language Day. The theme for this year is "Linguistic diversity and multilingualism count for sustainable development" and represents values that are essential in our school. This special day, sponsored by the United Nations, aims to promote unity in diversity and international understanding, through multilingualism and multiculturalism.
At BMS, we will recognize our linguistic diversity in two different ways. Firstly, our school cafeteria will be decorated with signs saying "Guten Appetit!" in more than eighty languages. In addition, Secondary School students will be invited to write a message in their mother tongue on the big display board in the main entrance.
Let's be proud of BMS colorful linguistic heritage!
