Student Executive

  • One representative per Grade plus School Captain and House Captains

  • Meetings led by VP every 2-3 weeks

  • All attend to discuss school related issues, events, plans for the future

  • Agenda decided by the VP and Student Executive in response to school’s needs

  • After every meeting, the Student Executive reports back to their Student Councils

  • Process continues throughout the year

Student Council

  • One representative for every Tutor Group 

  • Meetings led by HoG every 2-3 weeks

  • All Student Councillors attend to discuss Grade related issues, questions, and concerns

  • Agenda decided by HoG and Student Council and based on the views of Tutor Groups

  • After every meeting, Councillors report back to Tutor Groups and take note of feedback

  • Process continues throughout the year

Student voice and student leadership play a very important part in what we do at BMS. Students are invited to be involved, work in teams alongside other students and staff, represent student viewpoints and play a role in decision making and the organisation of  school events.
